Closeout
The reconciliation after an event ends: what was planned, what was ordered, what arrived, what it cost, and what happened to it.
Why it matters operationally
Closeout is where an event learns anything. It is also where the funding body, the auditor and next year’s budget get their numbers. If planned, ordered and received were never kept apart, closeout becomes an archaeology exercise across three systems and a shared drive, and it usually gets abandoned.
How Roadmap handles it
The three numbers are distinct throughout rather than reconstructed at the end, and everything is exportable in an open format at any time.
